    No, our English alphabet is the Phonetic alphabet. It's called the "phonetic" alphabet because it's modeled after the Phoenicians' own alphabet, which was 28 letters. They included "ch" and "th" as separate letters. Phonics means sound, and that is how our letters work. Each corresponds to a sound. That's how the Phoenicians did it as well. :)

    H - How
    I - Item
    J - Jig
    K - King
    L -Love
    M - Mike
    N - Nan
    O -Oboe
    P - Peter
    Q - Queen
    R - Roger
    S -
    T -
    U - Uncle
    V - Victor

    Those are all the oens it lists for Operation Overlord
