im still working on the header

and the red lines kind of have to be there, but ill see what my company partner thinks of em later when he gets online.

The red matches the links and the banner will also contain red. It only looks weird right now since the banner doesnt have any color to it.

 

...bump... more C&C on the new template please? Im working on the banner as we speak...

 

added the newest version with my own banner. I currently have a contest going to see if anyone else can make a banner i like more than mine.

The contrast of the dark blue/white is not so good, and the red makes it worse. The banner is not so good. The arrows point to the middle yet, the text is off centered? The font used for the name looks very hard and again the contrast is too much. Also I do not like pixel text, but I suppose since it is a "GFX" oriented portfolio its fine, it just looks noobish.

 

if you paid attention the right arrow is longer than the left arrow. they arent in direct middle and tjhe concept got ruined in mid process and i havnt bothered to fix it on that version.

Then if it got ruined and didn't work out the way you wanted then why post it? Also I'm not going to open the template in photoshop and measure to make sure the arrows are in the center, but if it looks that way to the naked eye then thats how I'm gonna call em.

This version isnt my latest version, so the problem isnt fixed here. Once I code the final version I will repost.

 

Try putting a 4% carbon fiber layer over top of the content boxes and see what it looks like.......

 

it already has a light pattern on it, i may up the opacity tho just a little bit more
