A (public) Voting Poll For The Sotw?

    Following the latest debacles in the SOTW I was wondering how you would feel about setting up a voting poll so all can vote about the SOTW?

    this forum has a "poll" option so why not use it and have done with the comments after the winner is decided.
    I do think it would be fairer and the decision more accepted.

    I dont know if you can restrict voting to peeps with a certain amount of posts.
    You probably can restrict voting to certain groups.


    added a poll to this thread (my first poll, huray :lol: )
    you can add images with the normal tags...
    just have to make sure not to use hardreturns in an answer line

    make it restricted so that its the same as premium renders you cant vote if your not active.

    Mostly agree on this but it should also be restricted that the voter must have been around a while.. not just active. it can help weed out cheating... and keep it to people that have some kinda clue not just newbies voting maybe established members and up only allowed to vote...

    Polls just lead to cheating, people getting others to vote, or making new accounts etc.

    Yes, i really think that would be a good idea, but i think it should be to ppl with over 150 posts, so they are more experienced....

    i think it should be up to 3 prof judges or if its public then only well known gfx rtists , you cant have a complete noob rate it based on shit like

    ex:

    "I really like it because its god a border , thats so amazing , howd you do that!!!!"

    or a newb

    "O yay thats awsome grunge , i like the fact it doesnt blend and shit"

    not one graphics community has a public voting sotw (big community) nor do I think we should or will change

    There should be poll voting. That is a fair representation of what people actually think (without introducing bias) and eliminates bribery etc.

    As for limitations - definately to those with status or a high post count (since newcomers to the site could easily be swayed into voting for the wrong reasons - as detailed in this thread).

    Therefore, to decide whether we should poll SOTW, we shall poll! :D

    Final vote will be taken into account and the feasibility of the changes will be accounted.
