Following along with G70's "wish" that all newbies read the rules/and starterkit, why not have it so that when a new member signs in, they get sent a Private Message, welcoming them to GameRenders, and linking them to these topics. I know of several forums/sites that do this, and it always made me want to stick around. BFTP
I think this is a great idea because the number of new people coming to this site daily and asking the same questions over and over is getting tiresome. This welcome note should show people examples of prem vs non-prem renders, explain the sections to get help, purpose of creds/rep, how to use the search and edit functions which are often ignored or forgotten by novices, and last but not least...like the top 20 questions that are repeatedly asked.
I thinks its a great Idea too, because people ask some dumb questions <_< BUT, I think they should have to read it, (open it) before being able to post
