She said yes, but they wanted to wait for another release, or something like that I've read on the actual xbox forums if I remember right.
When you're original and computer-skilled like me you'd have some sweeter ideas. For the record... When your girlfriend gets up everymorning before work to check her Emails, the night before ambush her computer. Make a batch file that'll load an SWF file, with fireworks etc, and then another SWF window with the proposal text in bright colors, carefully and professionally done. Wake up when she's up, and come downstairs or w/e with her, but don't make it suspicious, pretend to be doing something while shes booting up. Have a text window come up with a beautiful poem, with your recorded voice saying it with romance. After the poem, actually get on your knees and give her the engagement ring, and then it's a romantic dinner at 6, and a movie at 8. That Halo thing is pretty cool too, original, for sure. It's like in the 90's a lot of men would do the baseball or football scoreboard marriage proposal thing, or the airplane in the sky.
Similar thing happened in the Sony Fan Faire. A couple married on a game called Everquest 2 and in real life at the same time.
yeah same thoughts, I would think it was pretty lame wonder what happened after, she said yes then kills him in the game
That's one way to do it. I know people who have met over xbox live (mostly halo games) and eventually gotten married, but the actual proposal online I have not seen. It's cute ^__^
