1) Many generous members of the forum (Still is many now. ) 2) Sig styles have changed, I've noticed new trends coming in... I still personally like the old style better lol. This is the biggest one for sure! 3) Credits were worth a whole lot, I remember I used to think 100 was a fortune. 4) Posts counts and credits were practically everywhere, they've disable in some areas now. 5) Tuts were free. Little things have changed, but it's the same GR Community. :wub: Snipe.
When everyone came to have fun, not make virtual money. And i've been here since the very begining of GR, i was here in August 04.
Yeah but all most care about these days is money, can't they just leave it for one thing, guessing not.
Money changes everyone. I got my start here last year, can't say that I noticed too much of a change (probably because i've only been active recently), but from what i've read, a lot has changed. Change is normal, has to happen eventually.
I haven't been here that long, but I do like the site. Some people make it worse, but I just try to overlook them.
all i remember is trying to get 20 posts to look in premium renders :lol: and some dude with a hot avatar
i remember rendering things and getting excited to see what people thought of them. Also remember when I used to make grunge sigs lol. edit> here's one of my early sigs lol
I used to be here back in the day, with a different name. All the sigs were gaming style, grunge brushes, the pro gaming sigs were so cool. Things like chemicals old old work, was cool, i still like it, even though now we realize its not so hard. I remember NL and NOS too. They got hacked and never brought back And just posting around to get premium renders
