What do you remember about the ''old'' gamerenders? Personally, the NL crew comes to mind. I always dreamed of becoming a Next Level memeber, but never really got the chance. They disbanded before I became good enough to even apply. I also remember the good old days when I was stoked to sell a tag for 40 Credits. When I reaced the (net worth of myself) 1000 Credit mark, that was the result of months of hard work. I also remember the shops. It may just be because I don't go to the shop section anymore, but I beleive the shops back then were alot less competative and just for the fun of it. 10 Credits for a sig was considered a high price, and because of that they were open to almost anyone. Of course, the old fads will never die...Pixel stretch and hardcore grunge. The original HALO days, and of course HALFLIFE 2 ruled Gamrenders for a good 3 months. But what do YOU remember about the old Gamerenders?
The mods were alot better, more laid back i don't like the fine rule if you try and help someone in the Problem forum. Site is running better now i feel..theres the + thing.
I remember me being very happy cause i sold a tag And reaching the 1000 credit mark was also a big achievement for me back then
i remember when battles werent rigged, i also remember when tutorials where free, when people respected others for their work NOT there NSL rank or name, i remember when the mods cared more about helping the forum then making a fan base, i also remember when the mods treated everyone the same, not turn the other cheek to people they like or come down hard on people they dont like. i wish GR was like it used to be.
NSL doesnt mean anything, no one lieks NSL whos good. Fathom = Hates NSL, BE = Hates NSL, NL = Hates NSL. I remember when, well not that much cause ive been banned on 2 accounts. lol, but ya better mods who werent super power hungry. and when NL and NOS ruled GR.
what i ment was how GR has become riddled with "im rated pro or semi pro at NSL" and how everyone is all caught up in the ratings. i mean i cant sell tags anymore unless they are labeled with these ratings.
