Hmm... So lets put what you said into context. All the people who died in the World Trade Center Bombings. You didn't know all of them. Did you not feel any emotion towards them and/ore their familes?

    How about Katrina?

    The Tsunami?

I hate hearing about people committing suicide. In one hand, I feel sorry for him, but on the other I don't - I think he could have done something to change his life instead of take it away.

I know a lot of people who are in the same situation -AND- even worse (I volunteer at homeless shelters & food banks for those in poverty in San Francisco) - and they're doing what they can to make everything better. Cheaper housing, food stamps, community colleges - even begging for money... anything but taking their own lives away. The guy could have gone to counseling and done something about his pit of depression.

So even though I feel bad for the guy, I think he made a really, really stupid move.

    Merged Post:

See, these are two different events. Tragic events happened and people are trying to do their best. People are re-locating, trying to re-build and make things better. Of course people feel bad.

But the guy that commited suicide did the opposite. He decided he wasn't going to improve and took his life because he didn't like his situation. Instead of changing things for the better - he killed himself.

I feel more sorry for his family than I feel sorry for him. Look how he left them.

honestly dude, i think you are in dire need of counceling. go get yourself checked out, you need some help man.

I will say it again. The least you can say is R.I.P

Have your parents ever taught you the simple saying "If you cant say anything nice, then don't say anything at all." I think the same thing applies here.

Damn i actually had tears in my eyes, I cant even say that i knew how he was feeling because ive never been in that situation and i hope no-one else does. Ive had to help alot of guys out who were thinking about doing this, or they have similar problems, yes some guys on this forum also, im glad to say that i sat up most nights talking to these people, hoping that i could help them out the best i could, fortunately for me they are still here with us.

I am angry at the people who have said they dont care.

    R.I.P
