Well, I have a few opinions that I would like to share, First off I think that this skin is a little bit too dark, it is sometimes hard to find some things here. Second, I think that having to have 500+ posts to advertise is a bit much, and getting 20+ rep is a tad difficult I think. Third, I think that a few of the buttons here are too bright for this dark colored skin and it kind of hurts my eyes. Those are my opinions, feel free to discuss.
1 - up the brightness on your monitor, i go to this site from about 15 different computers in the dark and with lights on and have no problem whatsoever seeing this site. 2 - No, its not hard to get 20 rep, its 1 good render, and 500 posts is to assure we don't get 1 post wonders who show up simply to advertise and leave. 3 - Oh well, your a brand new member, and your first (second?) post is complaining about the site. If you don't like it, your welcome to leave, you signed up in advance knowing what the site looked like.
You get used to the skin, when it was first put up it did seem very dark but now it's fine. If there were lower requirements on advertising then too many people would be able to do it and it wouldn't really be worth having a thread there (as much).
@LittleJ: yeah i can understand that, but still....500, oh well I can try. @Dementia: Im not complaining, actually i thought it was a site problem, but thanks for the monitor suggestion. And yes I did sign up in advance knowing what the site looked like, its just like I said before, I thought it may have been a site problem such as a macro miss-hap or something, but no I do not want to leave, I already like GR as it is.
0_0...that was unnecessary majin.... I don't think that I should have to gtfo because of my opinions.... Genes, what is myopic eyes? does that mean things are brighter to you then most people?
Sorry if i sound rude but if you do not like what the forum is dont go here no more.. unlike me you haven't donated to keep this forum running... if i don't like something i don't participate... now i did request some stuff that a donator should get but thats cause i did something for them by help keep the fourm running and i suggested to change the buttons i dont think they did it cause i requested they probally did it cause they knew it need ed to be changed but put that aside.... PLEASE!!!! NEVER EVER EVER EVER say that again.... congratulations buddy.... you donated.... you get no special treatment for donating... and no one looks up to you because you donated. I guarentee you, I've put more into this forum without donating a single penny to it, then your $25 did. I normally wouldn't respond to something like that... but you pretty much just stated "Hey look, I donated and now look how big my e-peen is!!!!"
20 rep CAN be hard to get. depends. Back in the day say mid 2005 it was pretty damned easy to get rep it's harder as of late though.
