    Well with any new release prices of older versions should always drop. But in this release you see that prices of the newer versions arent that much different than the older ones. This meaning you get more bang for your buck.
    Ill provide more links in a while since newegg is US only.

    Well i dont see why someone would wait to buy an older card for less. The 7900GT out performs the 7800GTX 256 and the 7900GT is 100$ less. But thats just me.

    I'm asking about the same thing, hopefully this drops the price of the 6800 down some. <_<

    why not go for the 7800GT, the 6 series cards won't drop as much, FYI the 7600 sould be able to outperform the 6800

    Those are companies who modify the cards and oc them.
    The clock frequencies of the 7900gt are alot better than the 7800 I see.

    very nice: the 7900 gt is as much as the old 7800 gt.

    The gtx isnt too bad either.

    the clock was improved for the 7900 GT compared to the 7800GT, besides I already wasted $300 for the 7800GT i have so.... at the most I will trade.
