Some of my friends have paid like $250 for their rackets. Better rackets allow you to put more power and spin on the ball. I'm probably the only one on my team whose racket cost less than $100. Lol, I'm used to the $16 Walmart rackets, so I've stuck with them since I started playing. They don't last as long, but they're a lot cheaper. $500 is mainly for the gold part I'm guessing. Because a racket itself would usually not cost that much, especially a Wilson. And Flag, why wouldn't you spend $500 for a night with Serena? She's bootylicious
My mate plays tennis at a high level and payed £120 for his racket what is around $250 I think. The main thing about the better rackets is the shock absorber on thier to stock the racket viberating and damaging your hand/arm in the long run.
my $16 walmart rackets have all had shock absorbers with them. and you can buy them for like $2 and put them on there yourself. I'm at high school level myself
