4gb/2gb Ram Issue On Xp

    from what I know, XP(32bit) should be able to recognize ~3.21GB without issues, but it's only "seeing" 2GB out of that.

    I've had Orthos running in the background for around 15 mins and no errors. BIOS recognizes 4GB, CPUz does too. WINDOWS and srtest only recognize 2.0GB though, where is my last 1.21GB?

    EDIT: 3 sticks show up as 3GB.
    the /3gb and /pae switches seem to be all but worthless.

    run XP xp2

    Get Vista or XP 64bit, that should fix it...

    Isnt this because the last two are in dual channel?

    Take one out meaning its not dual channel giving you 3gb
