ps3 will sell just because it is sony !! and i fink the price tag is suitable... how much did u expect to pay ?

less, I could just build a computer for 800 with comparable graphics to the Ps3 For the decent PS3 and a game/extra controller i am already paying 700
there is no possible way i am going to pay more than 300$ for any console..... the only possible way i'll even consider buying a ps3... is if the modding scene really picks up so i don't have to purchase games.... (like i do with my xbox, dreamcast and NDS)
Exactly my friend HOw many topics like these have been made up ... just use the search button grrr.. It doesnt matter about price - Its what capabilities it has 360 - FIrst few weeks it received problems of HD crashes/freezes etc If the PS3 is perfect [hence taking a long time to fix the stuff] then give them time - I would As long as it doesnt wreck up I will buy it in the first week of release in the UK - No matter if the cost is £500 or so ... A PC is not a CONSOLE i repeat NOT A CONSOLE FOR PLAYING CONSOLE GAMES Jimbo - I doubt u can make one which matches the PS3 Consoles are going more powerful than PC
consoles will never be more powerful than pcs, sorry to break it to you blitz, i do agree with certian other things you have said, but not with this. The only thing PC is lacking is developers, same with arcade units.... course arcades are lacking consumers so.... heh anyways, the fact is PC is better than consoles... i could go into detail, but why bother, everyone has their mind made up and will not budge.... regardless of how many facts are thrown before them. we all have a love for a particular console or way to play games... personally my favorite way to play games is in the arcade, remember the good old days of playing tekken 3 and crusin' usa against strangers even betting quarters with them on the subject of xbox, it's prolly the best system out, the normal xbox not the 360 if you mod it, maybe not in graphics and whatnot, but if you get EVO X os you can have a ton of free games/movies/apps/ whatever you want...... for cheap.... Xbox does not suck... period
The PS3 took a longer time due to blu-ray and its other new technology. It is going to most likely have more bugs than the 360 due to its new technology. A PC is not a console, but it can play a majority of the games that come out for consoles. Right now most any graphics card that you can play maxed with HDR lets say FEAR would do better than the 360 (without HDR, with probably the same) and the PS3's graphics cant be much higher than that. Consoles are just essencially PCs just made to play games, so at that the best PC will always be better than the best console.
