    it has pci-express.
But it doesnt have agp because agp is old and being phased out.

ok so about the cpu , is there a diffirence between the amd sempron 3000+(http://www.chip.co.il/product.asp?productid=139) and the amd athlon 64 3000?
cuz the sempron is much cheaper ,

and ur saying my current IntelĀ® PentiumĀ® 4 CPU 2.66GHz Processor is bad , well the amd sempron 3000+ is 1.8Ghz and thr amd athlon 64 3000+ is 2.0 GHz , and my current processor is 2.66 , well thin why is it bad? and all the intel have higher GHz

I've actually been wondering that myself. But AMD Athlons are better than Intel for gaming, let me tell you that now. You're looking into an AMD Athlon 3000+ which should run games good. Not the best setup, but not the worst either.

Personally if I were you I'd save up alot of money and blow out on a AMD Athlon 3800+ (minimum) along with an Asus mobo PCI-E because the 3000+ setup isn't much of a great difference to your current setup. It's just marginally better and you may find yourself upgrading a year from now because of this. thats why I suggest waiting a bit and buying a more high-end PC.

half life 2 lost coast needs at least 2.9 GHz and now i have 2.7 GHz , so if i get an amd athlon 3200+ i will have less , just makes no sense to me

and i am allready delaying the time of me buying the 6800 ultra cuz apparently ill be spending all my money on the processor and motherboard , so why get a 3800 , wat bout 3200?

don't get a semprom its old and crud compared to a 64. the amd 64 will last u a while and if u ever decide to change to a newer OS that is 64-bit then the amd 64 will run and do good :)

also i recommend upgrading to 1GB of RAM and could you also say what ur power supply is?

i see...well the only reason defuzion told me to get a new motherboard is because it doesnt have pci-e slots , but since the video card am planning to buy can be used in an agp slot , i think the mother board can wait , so it wouldnt harm the performance if i keep this motherboard for now and get the amd athlon 64 3200 + , and get more ram (2GB probably , if not , thin 1GB)?
