I used to use 3ds Max ,from what I did it looked purdy, never started doing serious ---- though, I am starting to learn the basics of modeling in C4D,already modeled a TV, with a stand ,PSP and iPOD , I can also make abstracts and I might soon be bying a new computer wich will open thousands of doors in the 3d world for me :)

    I <3 3d art. I use C4d, Bryce, and Daz|Studio on a regular basis. I have 3dStudio and c3d, just don't use them much.

I need to start doing more in 3dS, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

@Anybody that has Maya, or lightwave....How are they? Difiiculty, User interface, capabilities? Worth the pricetag?

maya needs a good computer, it can be kinda hectic on older computers.

lightwave is awesome, I use it for vehicles, mostly space/monster trucks.
