the diference between 05 and 06 is the release of dual core procs and the 7800 + x1800 nothing happened in 05...
its like that on all because the processor is generating the graphics. My x2 3800+ gets 2 average on both cpu tests in 05. Its standard. yeah the only thing that changed in 05 is the introduction of dual core and SM3. This year will see SM4 in ATI's R6x0 core (wont see in nvidias line), DX10, Vista, 60nm, DDR4 in gfx cards so it will be a big year.
