why is it that the 360 always gets a game first? like rock band 2 for example its coming out this sunday whereas for the ps3 its coming out next month.

last remnant was supposed to be a ps3 exclusive and now its going to be coming out after xbox and it doesnt even have a release date for ps3 yet??

  2. Microsoft works hard to get the games they are releasing finished early. Hell, we pay around $50 a year for Xbox Live, and all that money goes towards keeping Xbox Live at it's peak, and getting games out earlier.

Microsoft is a very dedicated company, and they will do anything to get more buyers. Can't say the same about Sony, can you?

Rock band came out first because microsoft paid a ----load of money to Harmonix.

  4. Wow, such a biased view...

Microsoft worked with Harmonix more than any other company, and yes it involved money, but it also involved effort and time.

Microsoft didn't just hand over a bunch of money to Harmonix to get the game out first, they worked with Harmonix to polish and finish the game ahead of everyone else.

LOL ya it was funny reading that...

but i dont think 360 gets all their games first, even though i cant think of any where they did. usually it has to do with the console and what they can handle, so therefore it takes longer/shorter.

...You just said he had a biased view when he stated the truth...

Microsoft just flash their cash. Bioshock, they paid a lot just to have it as a timed exclusive. Same with Rock Band and others.

And saying MS care about there players is pretty much BS. There a greedy money grabbing company, one of the worst in the world for it. Sony and Nintendo aren't much better either tbh.

Thats a simple question and it has a simple answer. Microsoft paid for the exclusive release. Its simple as that. Now as for a game that was exclusive to PS3 going to 360 its kinda simple too. Its takes alot of money to make a game these days. Even with the improving technology we have it can still take a few million to make a game. Now if a game is going to the PS3 its going to be made in Blueray High Def. And to make any sort of profit on it they would have to go to both consoles. Thats what happened with FFXIII. It was a PS3 exlcusive but cost too much to make. It sucks that there are practically no more exclusives but we have to live with it.

Now now. You cant possibly believe that Xbox has all of you in mind when it comes to getting games. Yes you pay for Xbox Live and that in itself is a rip off. You spent so much on the the console and then you pay a little more the 60 dollars for a game and you still pay for online. Thats pretty unfair. I'll stick to my free PS3 Network.

Yea... No thats not how it goes down. The games get made by the company. Microsoft just hands the money over as a type of sponsership. Games arent cheap to make and if Microsoft pays a little extra they'll get the game first. Its the way of greed.
