So, what is actually complete? Any of it? I look at it and it all looks computer generated, but then again, some others look real. If it's all real, it looks beautiful, wikipedia only has a few pictures, 1 of which are of a building that look like these. Still looks beautiful though, lol.

People wonder why places like UAE are considered third world countries ridden with famine and disease when shit like this is going up.

Perhaps the people spending money to build those buildies could, you know, invest personal money into helping their country rather than helping themselves.

The reason its not in the US and instead in Dubai is labor and materials are cheaper out there, and its not optimized for the business culture which is a stronghold of America.

^ Have you ever visited the UAE?

As for Greasy Pete, read the topic, Dubai is a city in UAE where all these projects are being made but thats just about Dubai, we have 7 emirates here and all are working on 3 Generation technology. Modern lifestyle is just a start..

Have you ever lived during an industrial boom?

    My point stands.

UAE is a 3rd world country whose technology isn't even comparable to modernized cultures, yet they have all of this going on, when the money being spent for fancy designs and unnecessary 'inventions' could be far better spent modernizing the country and bring it on par with the industries across the world and helping boost the middle eastern industry in the process. Theres a reason its still a third world country, and its not just money, and its far more on the decisions factor.

wtf is that supposed to mean..??

ive heard of middle earth in Lord of the Rings.. is that what you meant?

and the name of the country is 'UAE'? like pronounced 'ooh-aye'?

oh and just so you know, humans are only present in one 'world', its called Earth..

and im quite sure there is one Earth.

They are just considered as 3rd world because no one knows about them or maybe they refer to them as 3rd world countries, its not because its in another world or something and btw its United Arab Emirates, UAE is just an abbreviation used.

I know Palm Island and the World Islands are already built/being built and I also know both of those are sole factors in the destruction in large areas of both coastline and reef systems. I'm also not sure the Snow Dome will go ahead after Ski Dubai was seen as such a massive failing in terms of sustainability. In fact a lot of those ideas look frankly ridiculous, though I won't deny some of the architecture is beautiful.
