I'm sure there must be warnings on those sites you mentioned, but to anyone who wants to downgrade, be careful.. Remember the PSP isnt built for downgrading, so it could mess it up. I downgraded mine, and it worked fine, but still, just thought I'd best let you guys know to be wary. I upgraded it again the same day though.. Homebrew games are OK, but I bought a PSP for the movie/gaming capability.. May aswell buy an old Gameboy for those Homebrew games
Im a total PSP noob lol, as ini know alot about the PSP iRshell is the best Cubez is awesome get some emu's too also devhook so you can emulate 2.71 also the font mod to change the font
You can easily brick your PSP downgrading, so I'd advise anyone whose not too experienced with PSP's or technology in general not to try it. If you really want to, then at least get someone to walk you through it.
well it has a downloadable easy downgrade thing its like a voice telling u what to do and it downgrades it for u and stuff very easy but yea be carefull with this it worked for me and i did it two times
yea because i wanted the homebrew games but then i wanted the cheat device for gta lcs it said i had to upgrade so i did then i wanted the homebrew again lol so i downgraded and im thinking about doing it again oh and does anybody know were to get good homebrew games?
Downgrading is as safe as upgrading, I believe. Devhook is a must and I use it along with RunUMD to play iso's without ever needing a UMD since my PSP's lense broke. gpSP is also great.
