1px Borders

im having trouble putting in borders. Im making a new layer, going to the paint bucket tool and going to edit>stroke and have 1 px color is black and all that dumb---- and its not showing up, wtf

 

when that happens i just make a new layer and fill it with white, put on linear dodge and make the 1 px stroke there..

btw, the reason thats most likely as to why it doesnt show up is cuz u got another layer covering the one ur putting the border on..

Pencil tool ftw? thats if you mean going round the outside of the entire tag, if not dunno ^^

 

New Layer -> Press Ctrl + A (select all) then Edit -> Stroke

what he just said, thats the easiest way to make a border and also i think u should put the setting (stroke) at center <thats what i use to do that is

 

mabee its on outside change it to middle

 

I set mine to inside, works fine. :|
