Yup, but I'm kind of doing a treasure hunt and trying to buy all of them, so in about 20 years from now it would be 20 times that or more... but for now i'm going use it for personal use.
It won't ever be worth anything unless it's brand new, mint condition and in original packaging. Even then, it won't have any value until iPods are so ancient that only the hardcore actually remember them.
I don't really think iPods will be worth alot in the later years.. It's not like old game consoles, wich have a lot bigger fanbase.
Try changing that 20 to .100 well it works out the same either way, because after 100 years of inflation they'll be worth 1/10th as much....
+1. Technology depreciates over time, regardless of how you may feel about it being a "collectible". There are so many out there, you'd literally have to buy EVERY one and than increase the prices (which would not only require a lot of capital to being with, but a lot of time as well.) In short, it's not worth your time in the long-run, so I hope your thread is a joke.
well, if everyone in the world just decisions on one day they are all going to break their ipod at the same time and receive 1,000 dollars and I will be smart enough not to and apple get destroyed by an atomic bomb then we see who's laugh ^_^ But yeah though, the truth is I bought it because it was cheap, and for listening purposes.
