I prefer IE, sorry but Firefox is not an anti virus protector or fights off spywares. I mean wow if your going to "free porn and free warez" sites you will get viruses even with firefox. Sorry but I see no use for tabbed browsing, I dont even know why Microsoft bothered making that a feature for IE7.
Fx might not be an anti-virus protector, but neither is IE... also, script blocking extensions on firefox eliminate pretty much 99% of the "risk" for that unless you yourself are stupid enough to allow script to run on a certain site. and tabbed browsing... well if you can't see the benefit your monitor is probably at 2560 x 1600 or higher... or else you don't browse the net enough for it to be an issue... I dont' know, i average about 10 tabs at any given time and coudln't tolerate it filling the entirety of my taskbar, and clogging up the alt+tab list
I never have more than 3 or 4 pages open, so I personally dont see any need for tabbed browsing, and my resolution is lower and I'm fine with it and have no problem.
which would explain why... 3-4 things is nothing... I was talking about the sheer convenience when you have 20+ things open. If I find a page where someone links to 20 pictures, I'll open all of them at once in different tabs, it's a huge convenience. sae goes for other things. before I used tabbed browsing,k i seldom had mroe than one broswer window open, now with how much my browsing habits have changed because of it, I could never go back.
Welll now boys stop the aruging Calm Down When i first started comprehensive/high school they use intermet explorer i was like what... thats ---- get firefox on and thats what they did.
