    well seeing as not much people go to the computers section i need some help cuz i just got a trojan and norton sucks


    heres the story:

    i got a trojan and the norton window pops up but it cannot access it, delted, or quarnatane it.also i BOUGHT the copy of norton so it should be better. heres a screen of my problem

    so im trying to back all my stuff up but wow im surprised norton couldnt kill it.....im looking for a solution to this cuz its happended to me b4 and i restored my coomputer already......SOMEONE PLZ HELP


    PAYING 50-100 CREDS FOR HELP

    ps:name some VERY good virus and spyware programs

    have u tried going into safe mode and deleting it manually?

    when u turn on ur comp and u see the loading screen with the windows logo tap F8 a few times and ull be brought to another screen and u click safe mode (that is if u have windows) and its so u dont damage ur computer then look in the folder that trojan is in and delete it

    tthat should work, if not, go into safe mode and scan with norton

    nope it says its being run on something so i cant....i think its part of my system stuff cuz its in system32 folder




    anyone know any progs to get this trojan out?

    Try googling the name of the trojan, you might get some remval instructions, worked for me before.

    heres what i will do if its doin bad harm go to start > programs and look for system retore check every folder (note may or may not be in the start menu rember people have different computers.)

    any way click on system retore and u will see a retore ur computer to and it will give dates retore it to the day before u got the virus and click ok

    simple as pie

    the removal tools dont work for me but my system restore thing takes all of 3 min

    ok Im going to give you the same advice that i give anyone. download hijackthis and post a logfile at www.castlecops.com I guarentee they will solve it.

    OK here is what you do.

    Click start > Run > type "msconfig"
    Go into the startup tab and look for any strange programs, if there is anything strange in there untick it.
    If you cannot find anything strang look for the name of the trojan in the list and untick it.

    If that fails here is what you do.

    Boot up in safe mode. Restart your computer, continously press F8 until a screen comes up asking to boot in safe mode. Once this is done run this program, http://www.snapfiles.com/download/dlcopylock.html, browse to the virus on your computer C:/system32/*trojanname* then click ok and delete. this will remove it and no more trojan :)

    swizz, that is for adware not for trojans. I doubt they will have it will find it. Do what breakdown05 said or what i said, that should delete it for sure.
