Nope, XP can take up to 1 terabyte, if memory serves me right... Its Windows 98 and Fat32 that has a problem.

This is just a secuorty feature... No way to deactivate it, unfortunately. Only way you can do is use Firefox... I guess you have Windows XP SP2...

And your boot sector might be fragmented. Open Run. type cmd. type defrag c:-boot
