I prefer the k-lite pack but hey each to their own :) BTW you can install too many codecs ;)
It's an anti piracy thing, give microsoft a ring and they should be able to help you.
You need to tell each comp what files they can share. Right click on a folder and set sharing to share this folder.

Have you tried disabling adaware then running it? Also before reinstalling it did you uninstall it? (rebooting along the way!)
I would also check out your device driver settings ;)

First off we need more info... What format are the files you want to put on the dvd (avi, mpeg etc.) If they are mpeg then ther is no need to...
