Hard to really distinguish the smudging, the colours are a bit over-contrasted/-saturated. So add an adjustment layer to fix that :)

Yup, likeRubidox said, it's needs a bit more flow. Make the lines longer and more diagonal perhaps. Also add some more lighting spots.

A vector would be an illustrator file, so I think you need to make sure first you have the program. Otherwise you won't be able to resize it...
