Yeah you dont know about vegas rendering yet :D I have used vegas before but i find premiere way easier - hm ... uncompressed avi files are 1GB+...
I see the new version works with avi however avi are huge and may even crash imageready so if you want to do the long way and work with a smaller...

yes you have to If you higher the filters just fade out .. hence cant use them Happens sometimes :) DARKSTAR
never used avi into IR no point because avi is like humungous in size and will lag out IR .. so i use a converter to turn that avi to mov format...
not for commerical quality - They are just normal programs for low quality vids I agree with adobe premiere - I have used it in these few months...
