its not too bad for a 2nd attempt, but my attetion seems to be drawn away from the focal with that c4d render over it, some of that needs to be...
not much goin on, the right side is pretty empty, no offence but the sig is pretty boring in all, needs something more going on, and a bigger...
on the left of the sig the cliffs are ever so slightly darker on the top sig, barely noticable, but you can see it if you concentrate lol
i did try to put in a C4D but it just looked out of place, couldnt really get one the looked good, i know what you mean about the darkness though...

You can deffinately see depth lol, not kean on the text, text is usually best left to a simple font in white?
you can slightly notice the contrast, the top one is slightly darker round the cliffs
