underneath the tail is directly opposite a light source, and should be the darkest shadows on the charizard :)
(that and the flap where his left...
I think the blur is what makes it so beast
Sharpen the blur? (oxymoron :D)
it's sort of bland - Did you use levels/curves?
the contrast is almost non-existent (sorry for the harshness)
Originality! Pwnage idea/piece for sure.
Bump #2, v2 added
Woot! Feedback :P
Yes, well, attempt one didn't end up as I planned it too, but, I'll take the suggestions into consideration!
Very interesting tag.
Try making the orb look like a moon, that would be hot :D (Moon over Ocean :P)
For your poetry, try using more metaphor and...
1) Copy the render layer
2) Sharpen the original render layer

That sig is better than mine!
Really, wow, you've got dimensions and proportions down pat...

Overall, the manipulation aspect...
I like the 4th one, but the text looks like you cut it out of the second one rather than copying the text layers.
Critique, used some of the "modern" techniques.
he means that, rather than looking more like the bg, it looks a bit cartoonish, but less modern cartoons, maybe like Fairly Odd Parents compared...
b/w is pretty beast. It's just O.O omgbbq, cause the bg yells new york (it literally does, look at the top right corner)
In v2, the colors are a little more defined, you can tell by comparing the upper right hand corners.
Anyway, when I look at tags that take full...
I think I may have copied the render layer, then accidentally shifted it. XD
I like the second to last.
