mm yeah saturation and contrast need a lot of work. needs some blending, a blurred bg, and some fg as well.
a bit big, monotone, and erase the effects over the guy. gj for your first :)
monotone and the text needs antialiasing. the effects look pretty good, but he needs to be blended in. try adding some fg effects
so, uh...what'd you do to it? looks like you just added text and sharpened, maybe some color adjustments.
a bit messy but i like it. get rid of or lower the opacity of the text. a bit of blurring would make this look better imo.

c4ds dont really fit here imo. its mono and the bg is too blurry. moving the c4ds on the left diagonally downward and to the right might help a bit.
looks slightly overtopazzed. the lighting is a bit too bright i think, but the colors are hot. maybe add a tiny bit more bg details?

yes its an improvement, but its overcontrasted. dont soft brush lighting, it looks bad. text sort of fits, im 50/50 with it. get some more color...
