Smudge looks nice, but in some way I don't like different coloring of both sides.Pulls to much attention of the focal imo.

When you resize the render via transform.. keep the shift button down ;)
Followed the huge tut of Mortified Penguin and this was my outcome.. not to keen on the quality of the render I used [img]
Left side is nice indeed, maybe change the sunset part of the right into something that fits the render more.
I would blur the bg some more.. now you can see that you used the render a couple of time to create the background.
