It's hard to say. The lighting on the sprite appears to be coming from in front of him, which is really difficult to translate in a piece.

If anything, it's a bit bright. Take down the brightness some by doing some low opacity gradient maps or something. And maybe take out text....
Lighting is a tad off. Should be a hair higher (notice his forehead is very bright). The colors are nice, could do with a bit more burning here...

I don't like how many are touching the bottom, making the bottom really clear, but the rest totally random. Make the boxes more random, like TKB said.
