erm, either way he should throw away that RAM. any standard computer comes with DDR 400 (200 Mhz) compared to this RAM's 133 Mhz...
that laptop is probably very efficent for general use... photoshop etc, but not gaming, which is why its so cheap. im assuming it has intel...
$80 can get you some good 512x2 sticks of RAM. better to check your motherboard specs and see if it enables DDR 400. its a bit better if it does.
