you can use the free version of windows blinds
did you do anything to it, try a system restore if nothing else
you could be missing plugins it should tell you at the top of the window if you need them
maybe its more efficient and runs better..im not sure, once again a guess (ive also never used 5.5)

well is that your ony harddrive cause it would read that if the os was on another
it should still play without it
are you brushing on a layer that can be brushed on? make sure you have one selected

yea should work fine. Just the only thing that might be differet is the icons because they will take the cs2 style for psd and png and stuff

deffinitly dont have that many fonts you probably dont use more than at the most 30 of them pluse the basic ones
I use windowsblinds you just have to search for good skins you can use http://www.wincustomize.com/Skins.aspx?LibID=1 for windowsblinds themes...

i have a gig of ram and an 80 gig hd and it runs smooth
