i like the coloring on this one ^_^, the one with the text seems better than the one without as it more of a filler
looks good but you sort of have 2 light sources which isnt good, put the light where you have the bolts.
the render should be a little smaller as it takes up most of the space in your tag on this one, and try working on the bg a little more but it...

work on your text and the bg, other than that it looks ok
the lighting is too strong m8 so work on that and try not to over do the filters too much
work a little on the bg and depth and lose the scanlines as they dont seem to fit in. Nice work for not following a tut though.

i agree with Graphix lose some of that wireframe and it will look better.
