I do not like the colored one, it looks a bit messy, overeffected. The bw one looks pretty good.

The colors are wayy to bright. Next time use darker ones. You really need to work on your lighting and on your depth.
Canvas is too large. Try something like 350*120 or so. Like all said, tutorials are your friend.

There are two focal points. The render and the text. Plus the background looks a bit messy to me.
The water seems a bit noisy to me and I do not really feel that the colors are fitting. Maybe add a photo filter (underwater)? Besides from that...
The last one is rockin' ;D I like the idea and the workout. It just rockx.
