i wouldnt, you can get a Geforce 6800 for around 175 at newegg I'd stay away from the Sapphire 9800 Atlantis as last i checked it had a 128mb...
try changing/updating your drivers, if that doesnt work try taking off the side of the case and using a fan to blow air onto it
