Your processor will suffice for most of the things you want to do for the next little while. The more practical way, I feel anyways, to see more...

dharmesha13, can you PM me the model # of your Dell monitor? Does it happen to be this one?:...
It'll get the job done.. Unless that is you're planning some massive O/C, which I doubt you are.

You can DL a third part program such as windowsblinds or follow the guide by cochise (stickied)

Found a nice cheap off-brand (but still seems to be quality by the reviews) but its dvi-d:...
Oh, was just letting you kno in case you missed it before. :)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dvi Look at the diagrams closer to the bottom - DVI-I has four extra pins.
But what if the video card has DVI-I and the monitor has DVI-D connector? Is there an adapter for that?
Is Analog VGA the one that uses the D-SUB Connector? And wouldnt I get better performance ou of DVI? Or am I completely confused here?
Was planning but xelink convinced me I don't really need that good of a GPU so I'm looking for another.
For a GPU and a monitor to work together they both need to be either DVI-I>DVI-I or DVI-D>DVI-D, correct? And are there adapters for this?
Thanks for you help all of you - I'll get to repping you all right now! :P ...And I'll post my final decision later once I looka t all the boards...
You could buy one of those tv tuner cards.. I'm not too sure how much they are though.. Then you'd just have to get a Y-cable for convenience's...
