I did not sharpen the BG. That font is Halo and I thought it would look nice on the sig. And thanks for criticism. I will try to fix those.
Great sig overall. I do not like the text though. Looks too over contrasted IMO. The rest is really great.

v1 looks better. I like the monotone though. The sig is good overall, dont know of anything that could improve.

v2 looks nicer. Still think you should darken up the right side a bit. Text is still hard to read, make it a lighter color.

Darken up a bit the right side. Make it look like light is coming from behind him. Make the text more legible.
v2 is my favorite. I suggest reducing that white spot. Hurts my eyes :P And removes the focus from where it should be.

Whatever that greyish thing is, it looks really bad. Remove that and it's a nice sprite sig.
