I think it is better, but the techniques used for lighting dont suit the style.
Could be sized better imo. Your cutting out the focus point, which kills the interest.

Bar the red on the face the rest is pretty nice.
make the black cloud on the left grey and you will have a winner.
Lighting is a bit to white but the rest is comming together well. I would make the red tones a bit more stronger.
