Have you tried logging in with their accounts in safe mode? If the accounts work in safe mode, then it is a probem with software/drivers/viruses.
Okay..I get the feeling you only ran the installation program. Show Desktop -> Right Click My Computer -> Manage -> Device Manager -> Monitors...
Or..what I use: Right Click Desktop -> Arrange Icons -> Show Desktop Icons Makes your desktop completely clean. :D
