I think the background graphics could be extended to the right a little so the right side isn't so empty. All around its a nice looking sig, good job.
I agree with Daecu. The only other thing I'd change would be the size of your text for your name, I'd just make it a little bit smaller, but thats...

1st one is better, but I like both a lot. feels a little empty to the left though, but overall very nice.
