The C4D is blured a bit too much and isn't blended very well.
Yeah the compo is off. Too much stuff on the right compared to the left.
I like the no text version much better.
Yeah the best advice I can give you right now is try to find really high quality renders like on Planet Renders.

Maybe some sharpening would help. The depth and making him look like he is in the backround is executed great.

It's pixelated in some parts. Also, I think it would look a bit better if you put a paper texture over the backround.
Try to make the focal of the sig the focus point. Darken around it a bit more maybe.
I think it would be better if the flag was rotated a bit more clockwise so we can see more of it.
The backround is killing it.
More contrast and sharpen a bit. I think it's a bit off balanced seeing how it's so far over to the left.
