First one is better looks like a good realism peice but the hand in the water..wierd lol second one is nice too i don't like the over sharp purple...
Maybe changer her green finger nails and the purple glow from the bottom right corner makes her shoulder look faded.

I like the second one because you can really see the shadow beneath the c4d that makes it look like its around her neck and not just on it. Star...
Nice old looking style but the effects coming out of the paper seem to have to much glow for my taste, almost makes it look blurry.
Text needs work. I like the C4D effects. The bottom right corner looks like u just erased the render.

Sorry but it doesn't really look like it is popping out. You should try to add a shadow under him maybe that might work.
