if you want to set a pw for a directory do it from your site admin page.. there should be menu point there something there like ftp management.....
i think the best thing to do is chmod the file or directory..

To get a picture of your desktop, hit "Print Scrn" Near your scroll lock. And paste it in Paint or something else
