Hmmm... I was thinking more effects like splashes n' stuff from behind chief and kinda lighting up some stuff. Maybe a pinkish glow from his mask?

Hmmm.... White... Lot's of white. So much white that there's no definition... Don't just "look" at tuts. Do them. I promise you'll learn something.
I agree with Kovan. ;) Get some variety in there and lose the beveling. Keep developing your style cause it's cool. But don't be afraid to try...
