    highest that i have seen is a 60TB HD being provided by a private sponsor. my friends uncle was comissioned to hook 2,000 computers with no hard drive up to that one.

    The only way that is possible is by Raid, where you can hook X number of hard drives together, and it acts as one. That has to be alot of hard drives...

    What the hell!!!!! 60 TB...that's taking it a bit too far even if it's for loads of computers. Damn :P

    where i just did work experience they had four 2.3 terrabyte drives for backups.

    soari, u mean actual physical hard drives, or a server that has multiple hard drives that are grouped as 1?

    oh man i need a 200gig hd so bad, im barely able to keep my 120 and 40 from fillin.

    just immagine, in a decade, we will be looking back and saying to ourselves, only 1TB...

    I know in 95, ten ears ago, 1-2gigs was considered a lot.and it was 500-200 per gig depending on the time you bought.

    no I mean four 2.3 terabyte hard drives all separate but they are linked together.
