actually i think it looks better outside of PS but yea, something to do with gamma maybe but im not sure
Here is the answer, instead of these dumb people just posting nothing to get there count up. Answer - When you click New, make sure these settings are correct. Color Mode - RGB Color, 8 Bit Advanced - -Color Profile: sRGB IEC61966-2.1 Those should correct your problems.
sorry, but what wtf does resolution have to do with the color? 1337357- if it's a desktop monitor, see if there's an auto adjust button on the monitor or in the screen's color menu. your problem just recently happened to me, and once i did the auto adjust, the color was back to normal!
Hrm... Are you using Windowblinds by any chance? If so, upgrade to the full version of WB. That fixed my problem (My problem was that browns were displayed instead of blacks.)
Just trust me. If you are using the WindowBlinds Demo, get the full version of Windowblinds. Or even if you don't have Windowblinds, get the full version, it will fix almost all PS problems. Dunno how, or why, but it does.
Thats my new setting, tell me if anythings wrong and dont call be dumb jackass -.- I got Adobe Gamma a while back, but that just Fu*ked up everything outside photoshop lol I have an older version of Windows Blinds, but Its always off as it messes up the Start Menu And I using Photoshop 7 if that matters... Well, dunno then Oh,and this isent recent, Ive had this problem for a couple months if not a year now, I just never used photoshop that much untill recently, and when I did the change was really small, but now I wanna go into manips and more detailed sigs, well, I gotta know how It will look outta photoshop.
