it is a catagory 5 right now but it should downgrade to a catagory 4 before it hits land due to the warmer waters of the coast. good luck to anyone in the area and i hope it turns out ok
Yeah, hopefully no one is injured or worse, killed. There will probably be more hurricanes considering this is just the begining of hurricane season.
I'm pretty sure I'mma head to dallas.............Hurrican SEASON SUCKS!!! It's pretty much the whole damn year....
yeah with katrina i got a little whip of it... i live in alabama... east alabama.... but.... not all of katrina's evaquee's are in texas... ive got quite a few in my local schools.... but... my prayers go out to those in the path of rita... please leave or take great cover...
I seen it today on the weather channel; Mandatory evacuation in some parts of Texas. They better get out of there, you seen what Katrina did to New Orleans.
Ritas a category 5 expected to hit saturday, I don't think it will drop down it might beat Andrew if it has luck. Headed towards Texas has 5% chance of hitting New Orleans again tough break for em, eh
Great i live in TX the joy...maybe it will not hit my part! i hope everybody gets smart and gets out of those areas
This is rediculas all these hurricans! We have to figure out somehow to stop them..... There has to be a way!
good old global warming this is like the 13 hurricane, avg hurricanes a year is 10 and its like only half way through hurricane season
I live in The Woodlands, TX which is an area quite close to Galveston. They have closed school for tomorrow and friday here (YESS!!!! ) but we are expected to get flooding and power outages. I am going to snap quite a few shots with my digital camera. I will post them here too.
Global warming is still in the theory stage... even though I am believing its true since these hurricanes are getting huger every 4-10 years or so.
