My friend's computer is acting up. The graphics use to be ok. But now there was a sudden chagne and the graphics for everything is just messed up. It might be his graphic card. I am not sure any help would be appreciated.
could be his monitor going bad, could be his video card, could be his drivers... I don't think it's a virus. have you gotten the latest driver updates? go to the site of his video cards manufacturer.
If all that is affected is his graphics, then like XMasterX said, its probably the card. Viruses affect pretty much everything, mostly load times and such, usually not just graphics.
hm..try going to the manufacturers site and download the latest drivers - If its already the latest try reinstalling if that dont work check that the cables are in good shape and are connected properly or Try using a different monitor to see if it makes a difference
